“Can Bad Sex Ruin A Marriage And Lead To Divorce?”

Or is sex important in the marriage period?~

Kristina Dzara author and professor at Southern Illinois University, examined the role of sex in marriage and says it depends on three measures of sexuality in the first three to six months of marriage.  The frequency of sexual intercourse, sexual satisfaction, and agreement between spouses will and can predict if they will divorce by the 5th year of marriage.

Although there are a lot of factors that can contribute to divorce such as, marital quality, early marriage, cohabitation and so much more.  In order to get a better understanding of the effects of sexuality in marriage, she considered many of the following factors:

  1. Does frequency of sexual intercourse matter in terms of couples staying together?
  2. Satisfaction with sex and physical intimacy?
  3. And the effect of a husband’s sexual satisfaction with respect to the prospects of divorce?

The professor concluded, for wives, satisfaction with physical intimacy and marital satisfaction seem to be rolled into one overall factor. Not so for men. When men report being satisfied with their marriage, this reduces their likelihood for divorce, and if they also report being sexually satisfied, then divorce is even more unlikely.

“Aaron Henry From Harlem Created The DooRag With Velcro”

The 34-year-old Harlem native, was tired of wearing a ‘do-rag that left him with headaches and marks on his forehead, commonly created by tying the strings too tightly. So Henry created the “stringless ‘do-rag,” which now uses a snag-free Velcro to secure it.

He calls his creation the TsuRag.

“My goal with the TsuRag was to come up with a new way to maintain your hair,” Henry told the Daily News. “I want them to feel a sense of relief” since do-rag’s can be uncomfortable around the forehead.

Henry says “his new rag leaves no marks and can be worn right up until the moment before a big meeting or interview.”

“I want them to put it on and know that it’s doing its job without compromising their appearance” said Henry, who grew up on W. 141st St. near Lenox Ave. “It’s truly designed to maintain your ‘do.”

The TsuRag (do-rag) officially launches today and will be sold online at TsuRag.com .

“Should New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie Run For President?”

In the meantime, I think he’s flattered by all of the attention different politicians throughout the state and “in” the republican party who are urging him to run.

I’m sure his ego is just as inflated as his shape since he received so much support by his appearance this week at the Reagan Library in California. This is what the media headlines are repeating and what is prompting the New Jersey Governor’s “renewed consideration” as a 2012 republican contender.

The Governors pal told the New York post, the CA event was “more than just flattering” to Christie but a “mind-blowing” experience that he would be the most awesome candidate ever.

On MSNBC’s “Hardball” today with Chris Mathews, he said “some people think that NJ Governor Christie is the best candidate because he is rude, tough and extremely outspoken.”

Wonder what the teachers in New Jersey think? In fact, I’m wondering what you think?

Do you think New Jersey Governor Chris Christie should throw his hat in the ring? What’s your opinion people??? I’d like to know…

“Bodyguard Testify’s: Dr. Murray Wanted To Go Back To The Mansion After Jackson’s Death To Remove Michael’s Bleaching Creme”

Michael Jackson’s security guard Faheem Muhammed, who headed Jackson’s security detail, took the stand this afternoon in Dr. Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial. He was among the first to arrive in the bedroom on the day Jackson died.

Muhammed testified that Dr. Conrad Murray was trying to revive Jackson in a bedroom of a Holmby Hills mansion as the pop star’s two older children were present before asking whether anyone knew CPR.

He testified that when he saw Jackson, he appeared to be dead. “His eyes were open and his mouth was slightly opened,” said Muhammed.

Muhammed removed the children, Paris and Prince, from the room and returned to assist another guard. He said “Paris was on the ground, balled up, crying,” and Prince “had a shocked look,” he added.

He later accompanied the children and Jackson’s personal assistant, who also testified Wednesday to the hospital. They went to a private room as they waited for word about Jackson.

Muhammed also testified that Murray asked him for a ride back to Jackson’s mansion from the hospital after they learned of Jackson’s death. The doctor made a similar request of Jackson’s personal assistant at the hospital as well.

‘There’s some cream in Michael’s room that he wouldn’t want the world to know about,’ said Muhammed. “He requested that I give him a ride back to the house so the world wouldn’t know about the cream.”

“The Trial Begins For Michael Jackson’s Physician, Conrad Murray”

The world was shocked when on June 25, 2009, pop-icon Michael Jackson died of acute propofol intoxication after he suffered cardiac arrest at his home in the Holmby Hills, CA.

Autopsy results have shown that Jackson, known as the King of Pop, died at age 50 from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol and other sedatives.

Murray was by the singer’s side on the day he died and pleaded not guilty in January to a charge of involuntary manslaughter. He faces up to four years in prison if convicted. His lawyers will argue that Jackson drank the propofol while the doctor was away from his bedside.

Opening statements in the trial began today and the judge has said the trial will last until October 28. The jury consists of six whites, five Hispanics and one African-American.

Murray, a cardiologist and surgeon, practiced medicine inside and outside of California in recent years. His medical licenses in the state was suspended earlier this year.

The defense contends that Jackson killed himself, and that Murray was unaware that his patient swallowed a cocktail of drugs, including a dose of the anesthetic, which is not made to be swallowed.

But the prosecution played an audio of Michael Jackson slurring his speech on May 10, 2009. The audio was recorded on Dr. Murray’s iPhone while Jackson was under the heavy influence of unknown drugs.

The prosecution says Dr. Murray was fully aware of how drugged Jackson was a month before he died. Yet the doctor continued to administer potentially deadly drugs to Jackson.

Murray’s licenses in Nevada and Texas remain intact but his criminal charges prompted local medical boards to issue restrictions that prohibits him from using or administering most anesthetic agents, including propofol.

Stay tuned people as all of the dark details will be revealed before it’s over!
