“Election Results” Tonite on “Conversations Of A Sistah” with my Guest, Conversations Media Mogul; Mr. Cyrus Webb

In the midst of the presidential election the conversations were heavy, opinions were varied, the television ads were many and some of the political tactics were dirty. The dems were opposed to the republican’s messiness and the republicans were accusatory and blaming the president and democrats for dividing the country.

The politics of this election definitely equaled passion. If you are African-American and/or minority, you are/were automatically expected to support President Barack Obama, if you are African-American and pledged your eternal support for Governor Romney; you were considered an “uncle Tom” or a “sell out“. We heard about such instances and attacks against actress Stacey Dash, when she publicly pledged her support for Gov. Mitt (Willard) Romney via her twitter account.

The election rhetoric, personal attacks and passion of politics is why most people avoid such subjects and keep their personal opinions or “candidates of choice” to themselves. I on the other hand, know where to have such “Conversations” and was never afraid to say I’ve supported President Barack Obama, NOT because he was black/African-American but because I felt he was no stranger to the struggle. And just like I’ve stated publicly my support for the president, I’ve also made it known publicly when I’ve disagreed with his decisions.

Please get out and VOTE on Tuesday for the candidate of your choice. You are voting for those who don’t have a voice in this election.

It’s crunch time for the Obama campaign. The incumbent president desperately needs to win Ohio and Iowa in order to stay in the White House. Polling of likely voters in both states shows Mr. Obama trailing Gov. Mitt Romney by a slight margin.

This election is crucial for so many reasons, so don’t forget to ROCK YOUR VOTE!!!

Obama Toilet Paper Offensive, 24 Hours before Election Day

Hello Ceo Readers, I pray everyone is safe and doing well after last week’s storm. Like most of you, our power was down and we had limited access to all of our online sources and internet services; but slowly and surely the recovery efforts are progressing.

With election day just 24 hours away, administrators in a South Florida firehouse found toilet paper with President Barack Obama’s face on it (as pictured above).

Some thought the prank paper at the Pompano Beach Fire Station should just be taken as a joke, but this line of thinking is not only pathetic but disrespectful, petty, low down and hateful. City officials say that offensive or divisive political statements do not belong on city property.

“If you have an opinion, you’re certainly entitled to it. Everyone has their opinion. Put it on your own personal vehicle or your own personal things,” Pompano Beach spokesperson Sandra King told WSVN. “But you don’t display it on city property, on city grounds that maybe someone else doesn’t agree with, that’s politically motivated, and it’s inappropriate.”

The administration launched an investigation immediately after hearing about the toilet paper.

The incident “is being fully investigated as a ‘politically motivated, conduct-unbecoming situation,’ and will continue to be considered accordingly unless the investigation reveals other motivations,” King told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel in an email.

One year ago, a firefighter at the same station was asked to remove an anti-Obama bumper sticker from his locker. He obliged and admitted that he demonstrated poor taste by putting such a divisive political statement on municipal property.

Thursday on “Conversations Of A Sistah” Election 2012, Does the 47% matter?

Tuesday November 6, 2012 is election day and with so many potential ploys being set in place to block the vote, this election has become crucial.

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney believes that 47 percent of the people will vote for president Barack Obama no matter what, because they are a bunch of freeloaders who pay no taxes, who don’t assume any responsibility for their lives, and who think government should take care of them…Romney believes there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food stamps, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax.

Romney believes: “His job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.” Romney has secretly expressed his disdain for Americans who “back” president Barack Obama, thinking that most of them are African-American minorities and Latino Americans.

Therefore, Romney feels a strategy to steal the presidency rather than to win it honestly, so he told his contributors this:

“women are open to supporting me,” but that “we are having a much harder time with Hispanic voters, and if the Hispanic voting bloc becomes as committed to the Democrats as the African-American voting block has in the past, why, we’re in trouble as a party and, I think, as a nation.” When one attendee asked how this group could help Romney sell himself to others, he answered, “Frankly, what I need you to do is to raise millions of dollars.” He added, “The fact that I’m either tied or close to the president…that’s very interesting.”

A Vote For Romney is a Vote for Zomney!

I think the world wants President Barack Obama to win re-election bid for a second term in the White House.

Just ask filmmaker Joss Whedon who believes Mitt Romney is the right man to lead America – into a “zombie apocalypse.”

With Election Day looming, the staunch President Obama supporter and “Avengers” director makes fun of Romney’s policies in a YouTube video posted online on Sunday. In the YouTube video, Whedon pounds Romney for his stance on just about every domestic issue while working in what appears to be his kitchen.

“Romney is ready to make the deep rollbacks in health care, education, social services, reproductive rights, that will guarantee poverty, unemployment, overpopulation, disease, rioting, all crucial elements in creating a nightmare zombie wasteland,” Whedon said.

The parody, just in time for Halloween includes a doctored photo of Romney looking like a zombie (pictured up top) Or “ZOMNEY,” as the video notes in big letters.

“Lets all embrace the future,” the 48-year-old Whedon quips. “Stop pretending we care about each other, and start hoarding canned goods. Because if Mitt takes office, sooner or later the zombies will come for all of us.”
