The EGO, Tracy L. Bell - Blog Talk Radio, Tracy L. Bell Host Conversations Of A Sistah

“When your EGO Surpasses Logic” Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Do you know someone with a HUGE EGO? So huge that they’re willing to scarafice everything for it and throw caution to demise all for the sake of protecting their EGO. And Logic is a servant, not a master therefore, it’s important to distinguish between ego-driven feelings of envy, fear, greed, and the powerful positive urges of the heart, and those of love and compassion. Because Love has its own logic. Ego is considered a big impediment not only for a seeker desirous of God-realisation but it also dampens one’s life. One’s entire life!!

If our ego is high then we are unable to identify with the God Principle within us. In lay terms EGO leads to Pride, superiority, conceit and ‘I’ ness. Additionally, a person with a HIGH EGO is more susceptible to attacks by negative energies. To reduce EGO we have to listen within and what is happening all around us. When we make efforts to reduce EGO as per the directives of a spiritual authority then our spiritual progress happens rapidly.

Tune in tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah” at 6:30 p.m. EST with Host Tracy L. Bell as she addresses ‘When your EGO Surpasses Logic’.

Conversations Of A Sistah, Light skin vs. Dark skin

“For Some, Bleaching Is The New Beautiful” on ‘Conversations Of A Sistah”

In many different cultures and countries around the world, skin color plays a huge role in the concept of beauty. Lighter skin is often preferable to darker skin. The effects of the African American self-hate toward each other because of ones skin color is rather eye opening and sad, to say the least. This is a very hot and taboo topic among the African American community.

As a culture that came from years of oppression and hatred inflicted by slave owners, forced to think that because of their color, they were inferior, blacks have somehow reverted back to having this sort of mindset which is, in fact, hurting them as a whole. With no thanks to the media and its influence on what is seen as beautiful, Black America is tearing itself apart when it focuses on such a shallow aspect of a person that they cant control.

Why Are More Women Choosing to Marry Themselves? Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

It’s a celebration of being single and thoroughly enjoying it, therefore many women are jumping on the “I me wed” and choosing to marry themselves? Women are tiried of listening to or even believing whatever society’s messages are about being happily married. Women no longer believe they are not enough if they are not with someone else.

The notion of marrying oneself entered popular consciousness in the 2003 episode of Sex and the City in which Carrie Bradshaw, its protagonist, announced she was fed up with forking out money to celebrate her friends’ life choices, but never her own.

Is True Love Real? Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Hey Conversationers, this conversation is continuing due to last weeks “no show“.

The question still remains, “Is True Love Real?” Are you living it? Do you believe it’s possible? Are you striving to attain it?

Some people do experience clearly magical connections very early on in a relationship that predict long-term commitment and devotion. The intense drive of sexual attraction is part of every new relationship but there are additional feelings when true, long-lasting love is a possibility.

The sense of being alive is felt simultaneously and in every cell in the body. The heart feels as if it is opening, the mind is engaged, the senses are awakened, and a feeling of transcendence often emerges. Many new couples start out believing they are having some of these experiences, only to find out that they somehow didn’t keep happening. Those are understandable disappointments.

But every partnership has a better chance when the people within them feel early on that their connection is real and won’t go away. True love doesn’t give in to the typical challenges that end most relationships. It actually grows stronger when it is threatened.

Join me tonight at 6:30 p.m. EST on “Conversations Of A Sistah” via blog talk radio, for my commentary, “Is True Love a Reality?”

“Is True Love Real?” Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

First of all, what is true love? True love is the true definition of a perfect romance. But it’s not easy to find or maybe even be realistic. Some people do experience clearly magical connections very early on in a relationship that predict long-term commitment and devotion. The intense drive of sexual attraction is part of every new relationship but there are additional feelings when true, long-lasting love is a possibility. The sense of being alive is felt simultaneously and in every cell of the body. The heart feels as if it is opening, the mind is completely engaged, the senses are awakened, and a feeling of transcendence often emerges.

Many new couples start out believing they are having some of these experiences, only to find out that they somehow didn’t keep happening, or that their connection lost its spark. Those are understandable disappointments. But every partnership has a better chance of surviving when the people within them feel early on that the relationship is real and won’t go away. True love doesn’t give in to the typical challenges that end most relationships. It grows stronger when it is threatened.
