I’m going to keep it real by stating; there are many negative images of dysfunctional relationships in the breakdown of the black family unit. Especially images of healthy relationships of love and marriage amongst black men and women in today’s society. There are more single black woman as heads of households then ever before, as society depicts lack of commitment as a reality for black men.

I think we all have different definitions of a soul mate. We tend to believe that a soul mate is a lover, spouse or lifetime partner; someone with whom we have or will develop a romantic relationship. This may be the case in some instances but not necessarily definitive.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things NOT SEEN. Meaning just because YOU DON’T SEE IT doesn’t mean it isn’t so. And so many people struggle with the realization of this fact, which is why they can’t fathom it as a reality. When “FAITH IS” the complete trust and/or confidence in something or someone. It is the unquestioning belief that does not require proof or evidence.
Imagine that? Being Black and homosexual but also being black and discriminated against!
