“What’s Your Motive For Marriage?”

I was in a conversation the other evening with this friend of mine, when he started talking about the reasons people marry.

Call me a fool because I’m morally conscious but, I believe love is the only reason two people should get married and the fact that, they want to spend the rest of their lives together.

My friend declared, my reasons may be justified however, in this day and age a little unrealistic. He then gave me “6 reasons” why couples marry and love was not one of them.

1. Money, and when you have an indispensable amount, he said, life is so much easier. Yes money can provide all the material possessions your heart desires but you can’t take any of it with you when you leave this earth.

2. Power, and with power comes prestige, and when you marry into it, you become powerful by default.

3. Family ties, when your families already know the person you’re going to marry.

4. Children, if you wish to have them or become pregnant during your courtship.

5. Living habits, you both share the same thing and you both live the same way (i.e., if he’s messy and you’re messy – you’ll both live happily ever after in a pigs pen).

6. Lifestyle, drinker’s, druger’s, swinger’s, porn stars, Bible thumpers and partiers, those who share similar interest have ways of finding each other.

While my friend’s lists and reasons may be true, none of the above would work for me.

For what reason (s) would you marry?? I want to hear from you…

Feel free to add your own lists as well.

“Waiting For Daddy”

Sasha and Malia Obama are pictured here, waiting for “their daddy” President Barack Obama to come home from a day’s travel.

These pictures were forwarded to me by a loyal CEO blog reader who would like to remain anonymous.

Sasha can’t wait to leap into her father’s arms.

Aw., now we see she greets her dad with a warm hug.

Is it me or is Sasha too big for President Obama to be lifting? I know she’s the baby and all but that little girl is growing.

There is nothing like a daddy’s love!!!

That Malia is shaped just like her mom Michelle….

I wonder how many kids are waiting for their fathers to come home today?

Thanks to my reader for these beautiful pics. 🙂

“It’s A Court Order For Siohvaughn Wade”

Dwayne Wade’s Ex-wife Siohvaughn, is being forced to have a psychiatric evaluation.

Lester L. Barclay, the appointed attorney to look out for the best interest of Wade’s children during the ongoing custody trial; said “Siovaughn Wade needs a check up from the neck up”.

According to new documents filed in Chicago the attorney claims, “There is a question being raised as to the mental condition and violent tendencies” of Siohvaughn Wade.

Now I know how some women tend to be vindictive and bitter after the break-up with their children’s father, but Barclay concluded that Siohvaughn has both “homicidal” and “suicidal” tendencies.

In the meantime… Barclay is asking the court to force Siohvaughn to undergo a psychiatric evaluation with a court-approved psychiatrist and wants their two kids to remain with Dwyane while the trial continues.

“Crockett’s Fish Fry? Huge FAIL!!!!”

And this place is not all of that!!!!

For some time now, I’ve been told that I had to try Crokett’s Fish Fry, located on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, NJ. According to some of my email sources, family and friends, their fish was simply to die for!!

When I walked into this restaurant and take-out joint on Saturday, the warning signal for me which indicated something was wrong, was the strong smell of fresh bleach. The stench from the bleach overpowered any food aromas necessary to turn on my senses for an appetite.

The smell alone turned me off completely and I opted out of having a meal.

As my people placed their orders for fish, one of them noticed a small dead roach on the counter by the cash register. Of course they brought this to the cashier’s attention, who played it off as if it was nothing.

For those in my crew brave enough to eat what they ordered, they said, “their fish was bangin” a couple of others, said something different.

This establishment is a cash and carry only.

As for Crockett’s fish fry…No thank you!!!
