“Love Was In The Air As The Nets Beat”

The Utah Jazz Wednesday night.

Now rarely will I post anything on those slutty Kardashian sisters but Kim Kardashian was at the game Wednesday night flashing these “I love you” hand signs as her man (Kris Humphries) was playing his game.

This “sex-tape come-up star” got on my nerves throwing up her hands positioning them like hearts, just to get the attention of the camera. Who would even think about doing such a dumb thing just for publicity.

Yes., I was at the game last night as the Nets beat the Utah Jazz by 8 points, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ and couldn’t believe the extent of this attention seeking whore, I mean heifer; carrying on like a high school cheerleader.

Rap artist Jay-Z was in the house, looking like a bum but sitting court side as usual.

I was really surprised to see former Newark mayor Sharpe James enjoying the game and half-time festivities. The four-year term former mayor, was so nice and cordial as he greeted those who recognized him and posed for a picture with Phloyd T., owner and proprietor of GRETA Car Service.

“Is Teenage Pregnacy An Epidemic?”

Teenage pregnancy has evolved from a shameful situation to a symbol of status in many high schools across the U.S.

In June 2008, allegations that a teenage pregnancy pact existed at Gloucester High School in Massachusetts, which resulted in 17 pregnancies in a school of 1200 students; rocked their town of a large catholic population.

While as of September 2010, there were “75” pregnant teenage girls walking the halls of Passaic High School in Passaic, NJ. far more obvious that, what was once a shunned condition now seems glamorous.

Shows like “Teen moms” and others, that favor a hip Hollywood version of life as a ‘baby mama’ bombard teens with the message that being loved is all that really matters. And for those teens unsure about themselves and their relationships, the desire for some form of unconditional love leads many to think motherhood will satisfy that longing.

However, in Memphis, Tennessee, when Frayser High School put their town in a national spotlight with as many as ‘90‘ students pregnant, the mayors of Memphis and Shelby county were ready to get to work to reverse the statistics.

“I want to make one thing clear — the matter of teenage pregnancy is not something that was invented in Frayser or Boxtown, or Midtown, or any particular part of our city,” the mayor said. “Frayser doesn’t have a patent or trademark on this issue. These are not statistics, these are people and tragically [the] most venerable people.”

Memphis City Schools curriculum now offers 9th graders a family life education course, that has a heavy emphasis on abstinence from sex outside of marriage. The school district is going to be rolling out a new “No Baby” program in hopes to help curtail the large number of teen pregnancies.

The new program presented by Girls Inc., a nonprofit organization that teaches women’s empowerment, will incorporate Facebook and text messaging as a part of the “in your face” efforts to teach the girls “how to say no” to sex. ‘No Baby’ will also push abstinence and will not give out any form of contraceptives.

Now that’s an action plan to believe in.

“Lamar Odom, Talk About Women And”

A man’s responsibility in the February 2011 issue of Playboy magazine.

Lamar (A Laker Basketball Star), is married to Khloe Kardasian, from the Kardasian “sister clan” who all became famous by whoring their goods. Well anyway, this is what Lamar had to say:

On how marrying Khloé has changed him:

“Men, most of the time our goal is to have what we want when it comes to women… Most men like more than one woman. A lot of them would not want to admit that because that might not be cool, right? Most people don’t want to get married. Being married, that’s a responsibility. I always used to tell that to women. I don’t want a girlfriend because that means I’ve got a responsibility. I have a responsibility to call you. I have a responsibility not to be with another woman. I have a responsibility to be there on time when you need me. With her I was like, If I do what I normally do, I’m going to lose her. And if I lose her, I think it’s going to hurt a lot. Right then and there I knew. We were together every day.”

On whether it was true that he withheld sex until they were married:

“I tried to. I didn’t know why I wanted to wait. We came together and knew what we wanted from each other really early, and everything we did felt good, from a hug to a kiss. Then there was a time when I just tried to be a gentleman about the whole situation. I was accepted by her family. She stayed at my place and vice versa. I thought, We’re going to step back for a second. Keep it classy.”

“Bomb Found Along MLK Parade Route”

A bomb was found along the Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade route in Spokane, Washington.

The discovery before Monday’s parade for the slain civil rights leader, raised the possibility of a racial motive in a region that has been home to a white supremacist Nations.

The suspicious backpack was spotted by three city employees about an hour before the parade was to start, they looked inside, saw wires and immediately alerted law enforcement.

“The confluence of the holiday, the march and the device is inescapable,” said law enforcement special agent in charge of the Spokane FBI office. “But we are not at the point where we can draw any particular motive.”

The parade route was changed to avoid the device and a bomb disposal unit disabled it without incident.

Officers also declined to release details of the device, other than to call it a functional bomb that could have caused multiple casualties; and that the “potential for injury and death were clearly present”.

Prejudice, bigotry and hate, is still alive and well people, alive and well!

“There’s A Time, And A Place For Everything”

Yet New York schools Chancellor, Cathie Black said her comment regarding school overcrowding was just a joke.

Black said: “birth control would solve the problem” and made the remark last week at a task force meeting on school overcrowding.

Upon hearing estimates that lower Manhattan would need an additional 1,000 elementary school seats by 2015, she said “birth control would really help us.”

Cathie Black is already disliked amongst some of her constituents, city activist and parents., being a former executive at Hearst Magazines and USA Today; many felt she was more than unqualified for the job as New York’s school chancellor.

Black was appointed to the position by New York Mayor Bloomberg and Bloomberg came to her defense following a Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast yesterday. He said, “she has apologized and “won’t make the same mistake again.”

Her spokeswoman Natalie Ravitz says, “she takes the problem of school overcrowding seriously and regrets her “offhanded joke” left a different impression.”

Was the School Chancellor ‘out of place with her remark?’ I’d like to hear your thoughts on the matter?
