“Claiming to be “Straight” But Living In The Closet”…

This is a term used for contemporary homosexuals who hide their identities by living in the closet. This is why revealing one’s homosexuality is referred to as a “coming out”.

Gay men and women have difficulties acknowledging their homosexuality, either to themselves or to others due to their psychological complex. This is why a lot of gay people conceal important aspects of themselves such as their love life or a significant other. It’s like living the good lie.

Closet individuals cannot reveal to themselves, let alone to others their homoerotic feelings, attraction or fantasies. This is why these individuals continue to remain in the closet. They never marry or openly date because their hidden desires are only expressed behind closed doors. Their homosexuality is so unacceptable that it must be kept out of conscious awareness and cannot be integrated into their public persona. Consequently, these feelings must be dissociated from the self and hidden from others.

I have more respect for men who are openly gay and conservative, then those tall, dark, handsome, big bulky men who are closet homosexuals and allude their truth. And while a homosexual or lesbian lifestyle might be popular and unshocking in today’s society, some chose to live quietly gay to protect their professional images and lifestyle.

This may all be fine for some but don’t claim to be straight, when you’re really GAY and living in the closet.

Side note: The picture in this post does not relate to its topic, it was chosen ramdomly to fit the subject at hand.

James Brown’s daughter, Venisha Brown arrested…

Venisha Brown, daughter of the late James Brown (pictured in both photos above), is being held in the Richmond County Jail, in connection with a hit-and-run in North Augusta, South Carolina. Authorities say Brown was wanted for hit and run and possession of a stolen vehicle. The 47-year-old is being held on a more than $5,000 bond for a string of charges. She’s accused of stealing a car on one side of the river and trying to run over a co-worker on the other. Augusta, GA and South Carolina are so close, the states are just a river and a bridge apart.

Brown is said to have stolen a church vehicle/van, running down a church worker with the van and various other violations and charges.

Brown is facing several charges in both South Carolina and Georgia. She will be charged with grand theft auto, assault and battery, leaving the scene of an accident and receiving stolen goods.

Venisha Brown is the one daughter of James Brown who can emanate his dance moves so well. She squared off her father’s dance moves with M.C. Hammer in honor of her father at his funeral services in 2006.

Paterno stripped of titles in death…Ontop of Penn State Penalties…

NCAA president Mark Emmert hit Penn State with a $60 million dollar fine and a 4-year suspension during a press conference.

Saying Penn State was too big to fail, Emmert spared Penn State the dreaded “death penalty.” Instead, he stripped the school of its football wins from 1998 through 2011 — which places Joe Paterno behind football legends Eddie Robinson and Bear Bryant as the most winningest coaches in football history.

In addition to losing 1 year in football revenues, the NCAA also imposed a 4-year bowl ban on Penn State. The NCAA will allow Penn State football players to transfer to other schools where they will be eligible to play immediately.

The announcement came one day after demolition crews tore down the Joe Paterno statue on the Penn State campus. Paterno, who died in January, is accused of turning a blind eye toward the child molestation charges lodged against his former coach Jerry Sandusky.
