50 Cents, Curtis Jackson III, Dysfunctional Relationships, What he said

Oprah just talked about “Fatherless Sons” last night and now this…

Rapper 50 Cent Phone Tirade Revealed

Radar Online has obtained chilling text messages that rapper 50 Cent (whose real name is Curtis Jackson III) sent his 16-year-old son Marquise in the weeks before he was charged with assaulting his youngest son’s mother.

Apparently 50 Cent was outraged after the boy failed to open the door during a custody visit in Atlanta. The shocking text messages reveal the dysfunctional nature of communications between the mentally unbalanced rapper and his son.

Too many children are showing disrespect to their fathers based on the poison of hearsay being fed to them by their bitter fueled mothers. Enough is enough!

Oprah Winfrey’s Lifeclass program just touched on the subject of the fatherless sons topic last night, in a two-hour segment which aired on OWN. Not only was the show powerful but many men around the world are faced with the same issues and it’s sad. Too many children are suffering and emotionally messed up because of their parents broken relationships and one night stands.

In the meantime, here’s a transcript of the unfiltered and raw exchange between Curtis (50 Cent) and his son Marquise:

50 Cent: Hey I’m outside the house at the front door.

50 Cent: I came to the front door then lights went off. What’s up?

Marquise: U lying u outside?

Marquise: Lol.

Marquise: Lol u fronting.

Marquise: I’m tired of calling u, why don’t call me and please can’t wait to hear this excuse

50 Cent: Good luck with you life man. I tried to come talk to you. You din’t have to have me come all the way out there if you don’t to see me you little ass hole.

50 Cent: I don’t have to make an excuse for anything. I’m a grown ass man boy. You talking about money ain’t everything. Your right but when you don’t have any you’re gonna understand why I work so hard. I’m done texting you delete my number. Marquise: Thank u, and u know dang well u ain’t come out here too see, but if that’s what u want to stick then I’m sorry, and I know why u work hard, ok, god bless

Being Mary Jane Starring Gabrielle Union…Let’s talk about it

being-mary-jane-550x329

The TV movie “Being Mary Jane,” starring Gabrielle Union and Omari Hardwick, aired the other night on BET. Union, 40, plays a successful TV news anchor who believes her job, her salary and her material possessions are her biggest achievements in life. But she fails at maintaining a stable relationship with a man. Mary Jane believes a man is the missing piece of her puzzle and that she just needs a man to make her life complete.

Union plays a strong black woman who supports her entire family, including her sick mother, her pregnant teenage niece, her unemployed brother and his Caucasian baby mama, who all live together in the same house. This show covered every African-American stereo type possible.

Overall, I loved the show and thought Gabrielle Union played her role in true to life form. I just thought stealing a man’s sperm was pretty desperate and a bit disgusting.

“Being Mary Jane” will air as a series on the BET Network in January 2014.

What did you think about the show?

“Single…Sexy…and Solo”, Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

african_american_woman_date

Why is having a man so important for some women? And why is having a woman so important for some men? How is it that, some individuals allow society to dictate their status to equaling one’s importance to another half? When people are made whole? God did not make men and women half beings to complete another half. However, some people find that being single is the biggest curse since the creation of a girdle.

Having a mate is wonderful and love created divine so awesome but there are some steps that we as individuals should take in order to grow into being with another person. The biggest step being, getting to know and love thyself first!

In order to be comfortable in your “SINGLE” status you must first have the confidence and security within yourself that no other man and/or woman can taint.

Some men and women hate being solo and I find this to be a sad state of competition.

Join me tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah” via “Conversations Live” at 8:00 PM as I discuss the joys of being Single, Sexy and Solo.

In the meantime, sound off on this topic and access the show here!

Akemi disapproves and “a little child will lead them”…

Monifahs_daughter

Yes I’ve declared dropping reality television programs because of the ghetto garbage being displayed but must admit how I’ve grown to love R&B Diva’s on TV1.

In a recent episode as a apart of the shows grand finale, Monifah (one of the Diva’s) who has come out as openly gay on the show, gets engaged to her longtime partner Terez. I love them as a couple and love it even more that Monifah’s daughter, Akemi disapproves of their relationship and is extremely vocal about it. Even telling her mother in one episode how “it’s an abomination“.

Monifah-Terez-610x325

Monifah respects her daughter’s opinion as being that of her religious beliefs however; it’s really about her daughter shining a light of truth on her mother’s lifestyle.

The Word of God is extremely clear in stating: The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.

Monifah was disappionted when she shared her exciting news to Akemi about being engaged and Akemi didn’t share in her excitement. We’ll have to tune-in for the upcoming episodes to find out if Akemi will attend her mother’s wedding to Terez, she told her mother Monifah “I’ll let you know if I attend your wedding“.
