“Democratic Leaders Want Weiner To Resign”

Despite what appeared to be coordinated calls from top female Democrats for him to step down, Weiner remains defiant that he will not make that decision until his wife Huma Abedin returns from an overseas trip with Hillary Clinton next week. I don’t why he’s waiting for his wife to make such a decision? That girl has her own life and career aside from her husband’s scandalous drama.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said: “Congressman Weiner has the love of his family, the confidence of his constituents, and the recognition that he needs help.” “I urge (him) to seek that help without the pressures of being a Member of Congress.”

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the head of the Democratic National Committee, said: “It is with great disappointment that I call on Weiner to resign. The behaviour he has exhibited is indefensible and (his) continued service in Congress is untenable.”

I wish Weiner would resign already, I’m tired of this being top story throughout the media.

In the meantime, more lewd photos of the congressman have emerged as well as details of emails he’s exchanged with a 17-year-old girl.

What do you think? Should Weiner resign?

“BREAKING NEWS: Wyclef Jean Shot In Haiti”

Haitian hip hop star Wyclef Jean just got shot in Delmas Haiti. This news just came in from Haiti, armed gunmen opened fire at Wyclef’s car. Jean was in the car with Busta Rhymes, Jimmy Rosemond and other members of his entourage. No other passengers in the vehicle were injured.

Pras confirms on Twitter: Yes they shot Wyclef and he’s in the hospital and he’ll be fine. They just shot his hand.

Wyclef is in stable condition and is currently being treated in Haiti Hospital for his wound. Minutes before election day and this is going to be the highlight of tomorrow’s election.

It’s being said that Jimmy Rosemond is the same dude who was implicated in the Tupac Shakur shooting case? Hmmm soundy sketchy to me.

“Why Won’t He Marry Me?”

You cannot make a man marry you, nor can you make him love you., these two, very important instincts should be initiated by the man.

One of these questions came to me via email from a loyal reader:

Tracy I’ve been with this man for over a year and I have been everything he wants and more. I keep myself up and I work out and I look damn good whenever we hit the town and I present myself like a lady. I made it very clear to him that I’m not trying to do this dating thing for too long because I’m not getting any younger and he isn’t either!

He’s 30 and had his time to play around in the streets with the chicks who came before me but now it’s time for him to put a ring on it. I’m about to be 28 and I have a very strict timeline that I’ve told him about and he acted like he was okay with it. I want to be engaged by the time I’m 29 and married by 30 I’ve said it over and over but he hasn’t bought it to the forefront of discussion as a matter of fact he avoids it.

I don’t want to waste my time but he needs to step up to the plate. I have a job, I don’t have kids and not to blow my own horn but I’m physically attractive. He’s educated and got a good job so I don’t understand the hold up. He needs to put a ring on it asap. How do I get this message across to him because I can’t wait much longer. Your advice would be appreciated.

This letter is so simple and easy…The decision to marry has to be initiated by the man, in Proverbs 18:22, it states: “Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing”, your man has to recognize that you’re his good thing!

If he doesn’t, then you have to move on and not waste anymore time in a relationship with him that will not herald the results that you want. And this simply means, that you’re not pressuring him into a decision but you both don’t want the same things.

There are so many other issues I touched on with this reader, who failed to mention one very important thing: LOVE – marriage is serious and should not be ‘entered into’ lightly but should mean for the rest of your life…I wished her luck and advised her to be prayerful.

What do you want to tell her? She’ll be reading your comments below.

“Did Palin Fuel Congresswoman’s Shooting?”

Congresswoman Gabrielle Gifford (pictured here), was shot in the head on Saturday {January 8} at a rally in Tucson, Arizona.

Witnesses say a young man, in his 20s, ran up and shot the congresswoman “point blank in the head” as she spoke to a couple outside of a Safeway grocery store around 10 am. At least 12 bystanders were shot, 20 wounded and 6 dead, one of them included a 9-year-old girl.

In the meantime, Congresswoman Gifford’s name was on Sarah Palin’s political hit list. Is this Palin’s way of encouraging violence against all of those representatives who voted for President Obama’s healthcare plan?

Palin’s hit list was removed from her website in the aftermath of Saturday’s shooting. Authorities should still however, bring charges up against Palin for igniting violence via her website and her hate fueled speeches.

“It’s Called Divide And Conquer”

President Barack Obama took full responsibility for the sluggish economic recovery and said that “we have not made as much progress as we need to make”.

The President’s comments came less than a day after the Republicans made historic gains in Congress by riding a tidal wave of voter discontent.

Obama said he was doing “a whole lot of reflecting” following heavy losses across the country just two years after he took office, a repudiation by voters of the president’s policies.

Obama called the losses a “shallacking” during his hour-long news conference, adding that he’ll work with Republicans on an array of policy issues and help jumpstart the stagnant economy.

Either way, Barack Obama will be judged as a President on the bottom line results.

The bottom line to the real bottom line is, the Bush-era tax cuts that will expire at the end of the year unless Congress decides otherwise is the next big issue both sides will have to decide on in the coming weeks.

Obama has sought to make all of them permanent — except for families making more than $250,000 a year or individuals making $200,000 a year — while Republicans want to preserve them for every tax bracket.

So the bottom line is the money for republicans and the tea party activist feel as though they now have the upper hand.

So if the tea party are all republican activist, how come the dems don’t have a coffee clutch party? I thought the Rev. Al Sharpton was leading that fight based upon his march against Beck and the tea party’s rally back in August. I thought Al Sharpton was Barack Obama’s ears in the streets? What the hell happened because based on the results, every single candidate (including Nicole Paultre Bell) lost in yesterday’s election.

According to one of many phone calls I received this morning, Al Sharpton has lost his street CRED.

What do you think? Who should be doing more to help President Obama and the democratic party?
