Former Congressman Joe Walsh Threatens Obama With ‘War’

joe-walsh-550x392Former Congressman Joe Walsh reacted to early reports of cops killed in Dallas with a tweet threatening President Obama and Black Lives Matter.

In the now-deleted tweet, Walsh wrote: “This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you.”

In other tweets, Walsh called BLM a “hate group” and he called on Americans to stand up to “Cop haters – from Obama to the thugs on the street.”

Television personality Montel Williams was quick to lash out at Walsh on Twitter.com.

5 officers, including a transit officer, were confirmed dead. 7 others were wounded in last night’s shootings.

3 suspects are in custody. A 4th suspect died when a police robot detonated a bomb near him.

President Obama, speaking at a NATO meeting in Warsaw, Poland, described the terrorist attack as a “vicious, calculated and despicable attack on law enforcement.”.

Obama added: “There is no possible justification for these kinds of attacks or any violence against law enforcement.”

“Obama Issues Statement On Deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille”

obama-statement-550x323President Obama made a brief statement about the senseless shooting deaths of 2 black males by cops.

In a statement released on Thursday, Obama said he was “encouraged” that his justice department opened an investigation into the death of Alton Sterling.

The 37-year-old father-of-5 was selling CDs outside a Baton Rouge convenience store when he was killed by 2 cops early Wednesday.

Obama also mentioned 32-year-old Philando Castile, a Minnesota cafeteria worker who was shot to death on Wednesday by a milquetoast cop during a routine traffic stop.

“We’ve seen such tragedies far too many times, and our hearts go out to the families and communities who’ve suffered such a painful loss,” Obama said in his statement.

Obama took care to praise the thousands of men and women in law enforcement who risk their lives to protect the public.

“To admit we’ve got a serious problem in no way contradicts our respect and appreciation for the vast majority of police officers who put their lives on the line to protect us every single day,” Obama said. “It is to say that, as a nation, we can and must do better to institute the best practices that reduce the appearance or reality of racial bias in law enforcement.”

Is there “Light skin vs. dark Skin” privilege in Society? Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Light_Skin_PriviledgeHard to believe we did a show just four (4) years ago, in 2012 regardingLight Skin vs. Dark Skinand this very topic is still alive and very well today.

Since Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams spoke out of turn (for some), at the BET Awards last month, social media and online blogs felt he wasn’t black enough to do so.

Williams, who is half white, called out white people for appropriating black music for fame and profit.

He also showed support for social media militants, Black Lives Matter, saying, “We know that police somehow manage to de-escalate, disarm and not kill white people every day.”

Williams, whose mother is white and father black, let the world know just how comfortable he is NOT with his fame, in today’s hateful society of injustice and inequality.

Williams’ speech set-off such a firestorm online and in the media, that a petition was circulated calling the series creator Shonda Rhimes to fire Williams from ‘Anatomy’.

Many saying if Isaiah Washington was fired for being outspoken Williams should be fired just as well. Setting off the theory that “light skinned” blacks receive preferential treatment over “dark skinned blacks”.

Katie Holmes & Jamie Foxx Are in Coupledom!!

katie-holmes-jamie-foxx-550x410After years of rumors about the status of Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx‘s relationship, E News has confirmed they are officially an interracial couple.

E News — The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Claudia Jordan, joined the Allegedly podcast on Tuesday and revealed that Foxx is, in fact, dating Holmes.

When asked about the Annie actor, Jordan said, “[He’s a] good friend of mine. Never [hooked up with him].” When asked about his relationship with Holmes, Jordan added, “He is very happy with her. I like that he seems very happy.”

The confirmation comes after Holmes sparked engagement rumors in January when she was spotted wearing a ring on that finger, recirculating speculation that she’s been seeing Foxx after her split from Tom Cruise.
