Mall of America Shoppers Threaten Boycott After Mall Hires Black Santa

santa-550x363A slew of bigoted shoppers at the trendy Mall of America in Minnesota are threatening to boycott after the mall hired its first black Santa Claus for 4 days.

Readers sounded off in the comments section of the Minneapolis newspaper. Many of the comments revealed the racism that divided this country in post-Obama America.

The reaction was so vociferous that the newspaper was forced to shut down the comments section.

“Looks like we had to turn comments off on story about Mall of America’s first black Santa. Merry Christmas everyone!” an editor wrote.

A report on a CBS Minnesota website that was inundated with racist and vile comments was also shut down.

This poor Santa, looks like he may be out of his seasonal gig.

cwyumnbveaaui_aDonald Trump’s election as US President is showing signs of and producing an outpouring of race and hate in America, which mirrors and reflect the language he’s spoken in the past 18 months.

Trump supporters are expressing their hatred in live time, twitter and on social media outlets, telling immigrants they think are illegals to “pack your bags” and “get the fuck out.”

And because Donald Trump has failed to denounce the Ku Klux Klan in late February, he claims to be “the least racist person you have ever met,” and “not having a racist bone in his body.” Despite his denouncement he’s given us alot of reason to believe otherwise. Especially since he’s won the praise of this country’s strongest white supremacist.

Since the Trump win, hate crimes, harassment and killings have been at an all-time high. Immigrants across the country and throughout different states, are scared to death of being targeted or deported.

This in the wake of an Ohio State University student who carried out a knife attack on campus Monday who said in a Facebook post how he was “sick and tired” of seeing fellow Muslims “killed and tortured,” according to federal law enforcement officials.

Americans fear the actions of this one man, who’s been elected to the highest office in the land. And since his win as the next US president, there’s been nothing but hatred, race relation matters and pandemonium.

Gay film ‘Moonlight’ tops Gotham awards

movie-550x405The movie Moonlight is about a young black boy named Chiron who grows up in a rough part of Miami and finally accepts his homosexuality after longing for a boyhood pal.

Moonlight stars Mahershala Ali, Janelle Monáe and Naomie Harries as Paula, Chiron’s crackhead single mom.

Chiron (played by 3 actors from childhood to adult) is bullied unmercifully by neighborhood thugs, mostly for his small stature and his effeminate nature.

Mahershala Ali plays Juan, the sympathetic neighborhood drug dealer who acts as a father figure to Chiron and teaches the boy to swim.

Monáe plays Juan’s empathetic girlfriend Teresa, who provides Chiron with a safe home away from home.

The following is a quote from a Wikipedia review:

“The only other person Chiron seems to find comfort and companionship in is his best friend Kevin (Jaden Piner), and their sexuality begins to bud when they stay after a dancing class during school to show their genitals to each other.”

Moonlight didn’t do well at the box office for obvious reasons (it grossed $8 million since opening day in October).

Video of boy acting out while getting a haircut, went viral…Were they WRONG for holding him down?

Many of you have already seen this video of a 6-year-old boy with emotional and behavioral problems who is acting out while getting his hair cut.

Is it and was it, wrong to inflict more violence on an already damaged child?

Dr. Nancy Rappaport, a Harvard Medical School professor, tells Childmind.org that children who act out aggressively in public or in school are likely suffering from an undiagnosed anxiety disorder.

“When the chief complaint is temper tantrums, or disruption in school, or throwing themselves on the floor while shopping at the mall, it’s hard to know what it means,” she explains.

“The trouble is that when kids who are anxious become disruptive they push away the very adults who they need to help them feel secure,” notes Dr. Rappaport.

The video is a bit disturbing but was the mother wrong for inflicting such trauma on her son? And do you think the barber should’ve still cut his hair?

Trump Blasted Alec For SNL Parody and Alec Clapped Back!!!

trump_baldwinAs usual Donald Trump took to twitter to blast Alec Baldwin for his latest and/or recent portrayal of him on Saturday Night Live.

This is hardly the first time the president elect has taken issue with the show’s portrayal of him. But, this was the first time that Alec Baldwin, who plays Trump with hilarious and somewhat stunning accuracy, personally fired back at Trump.

Trump started with complaining about “equal time” by tweeting the following:

The equal time rule which Trump speaks of, is part of the 1934 Communications Act that requires radio and broadcast television stations to treat legally qualified political candidates equally when it comes to selling or giving away air time. Of course, the equal time rule only applies during a campaign and, in case Trump hadn’t noticed, the election is over.

On Sunday Alec Baldwin clapped back at Trump and blasted him for being petty and focusing on the wrong things by tweeting this reply:

Baldwin’s reply were long overdue but classically on point!!

Trump has a whole four years to go and he better get use to the media dragging him through the mud good or bad, it comes with the title and the role. As a leader you have to have thick skin and an open minded personality in order to survive.
