Ellen Cancells Kim Burrell’s Appearance Following Anti-Gay Sermon

bbxr6isKim Burrell’s scheduled appearance on Thursday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show” has been cancelled in the wake of an anti-gay sermon she delivered emerging online last week. The gospel singer was slated to perform alongside Pharrell on the daytime talk show, but he’ll now appear solo.

As reported online and by the Gossip Cop, Burrell called gays “perverted” during a homophobic sermon she gave at the Love & Liberty Fellowship Church in Houston, which she founded in 2010. Also during her speech, the singer said that “the perverted homosexual spirit, and the spirit of delusion and confusion, it has deceived many men and women.” She then went on to describe specific homosexual acts as sinful.

Ellen will address the controversy on Tuesday’s episode. Burrell was supposed to sing “I See A Victory,” her duet with Pharrell from the soundtrack of the new movie Hidden Figures.

Gospel Singer Kim Burrell Warns More Gays Will Die in 2017

kim-burrell-550x399Pastor and gospel singer Kim Burrell is still catching backlash over her fiery sermon condemning gays for spreading HIV/AIDS in the church. In a video uploaded to Youtube.com, Burrell warned gays will die in 2017.

In the video, Burrell, 44, is heard saying, “Anyone filled with the homosexual spirit, beg God to free you. That perverted homosexual spirit and the spirit of delusion and confusion, it has deceived many men and women.”

Burrell, who is pastor and founder of Houston’s Love & Liberty Fellowship church in Houston, continued:

“You as a man, you open your mouth and take a man’s penis in your face, you are perverted! You are a woman and will shake your face in another woman’s breasts, you are perverted!”

She then targeted Bishop Eddie Long as an “embarrassment to the church”. The 63-year-old prosperity preacher based in Atlanta is rumored to be infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

“I’ve never seen anything as heartbreaking as Bishop Eddie Long go down to nothing,” Burrell remarked about recent photos of Long’s skeletal appearance.

Burrell’s fire and brimstone sermon implied that homosexuals in the church community are spreading HIV through unprotected sex.

34 years after the AIDS virus first scorched the earth, men who have sex with men (MSM) still lead the nation in new HIV contraction rates.

The HIV epidemic continues unabated in cities like NY, D.C. and Atlanta, where men forego condoms and take a drug known as PrEP to prevent HIV infection. But there are indications that the drug isn’t as effective due to new strains of the HIV virus.

A new campaign has been launched to convince black women to take PrEP. Black women are the 2nd group most likely to contract HIV from men who have sex with men.

Burrell was already backtracking from her controversial statements on Facebook Live. She said her warning of a deadlier HIV epidemic was taken out of context:

We’re not in a war against flesh and blood. I came on because I care about God’s creation and every person from the LGBT and anything else, any other kind of thing that is supporting gay. I never said LGBT last night. I said S.I.N. and whatever falls in the sin was preached.

“What I posted was not all I preached to. Isn’t that something? That is a design of the enemy to make it look like I have a personal agenda against [gay] people. To the carnal all things are carnal, and to the spiritual all things are spiritual.”

Burrell is scheduled to appear on the Ellen Degeneres’s daytime talk show on January 5th. And we all know Ellen is openly gay.

Woman tries to put Christmas sweater on pit bull, and pit bull mauls her!

pit-bull-attack-550x306A pit bull named Scarface viciously attacked its owner after she tried to put an ugly Christmas sweater on the pet, police and family said.

The dog attacked Brenda Guerrero, 54 (inset pictured), in the arm and attacked two other family members in the backyard of their Tampa, Fla., home on Friday, Tampa police said.

Guerrero’s granddaughter, Tina Harris, told the New York Daily News that she underwent surgery Friday and is recovering from her wounds at Tampa General Hospital.

Harris described her grandmother as a dog lover and said she never noticed the dog acting aggressively toward her grandmother.

Guerrero reportedly suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries, according to local authorities. Her husband, Ismael Guerrero, 46, and son, Antonio Harris, 22, tried to stop the dog but were both attacked.

The couple’s son reportedly stabbed Scarface in the head and neck with a knife, in order to stop the attack according to WABC-TV.

The family managed to escape, leaving Scarface in the backyard. The dog then entered the home where two children were inside. Animal Control responded to the scene and used a stun gun to subdue the pit bull, capturing it with a catch pole.

Animal experts advise pet owners not to put human clothing on dogs because it may cause overheating. But people don’t listen, and when animals attack as the result, owners can’t understand.

Everyone fears at some point in life however, our trust and faith must be bigger than our fears. The bigger your trust the smaller your fear becomes. And the more you trust the more you become a conduit for miracles.

The truth is, for most of us, fear is present on a regular basis, but the form in which it chooses to present itself is constantly changing. For some of us we experience fear in form of anxiety, a deep nervousness, confusion, a lack of motivation, uncertainty, or something unidentifiable deep within. In either case fear is magnified as a giant to overcome.

Since the 2016 election of president-elect Donald Trump, there are fears amongst people in this country regarding hate and violence in an already heightened society where injustices are present.

Dylan Roof told her……”He Spared her life, so she could tell the story”

A survivor of last year’s massacre of nine African American churchgoers in Charleston, SC recalled in federal court today how gunman, Dylann Roof, spared her life, telling her he needed her “to tell the story.”

Polly Sheppard (pictured above left), told a jury, she dove under a table as shots rang out at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church on June 17, 2015 at the end of a Bible study session.

When Sheppard opened her eyes, Roof’s boots were in her line of sight, she told the jury who’s hearing the federal death penalty case in South Carolina, what Roof said to her.

“Did I shoot you yet?” Roof asked, according to Sheppard.

“No,” she replied.

“I’m not going to. I need you to tell the story,” Roof said.

Roof was given a Bible and pamphlet when he entered the church and joined the group, Sheppard recalled.

At the end of the session about 50 minutes later, the group stood to pray, closing their eyes.

That was when gunshots rang out.

Sheppard said she mistook them for the sparking of old electrical wiring until her friend Felicia Sanders started screaming.

“Oh, he’s shooting everybody, Miss Polly,” Sheppard recalled Sanders saying.

Sheppard told the court how Roof executed 26-year-old Tywanza Sanders, Felicia Sanders’s son.

“Why are you doing this? We mean you no harm,” said a wounded Tywanza Sanders, who propped himself up on his elbows to address the attacker before being shot dead.

“I have to. I have to. You’re raping our women and taking over the nation,” Roof said, according to Sheppard’s account.

Closing arguments are set for tomorrow, with the jury expected to begin deliberations. Should he be found guilty, Roof has elected to represent himself during the sentencing phase of the trial. Either way, he faces the death penalty.
