“TAKERS”

I know I haven’t blogged about the latest movie flicks lately and that’s because I haven’t had the time to see any; but that will all change when the movie “Takers” hit the Editor’s guild in a couple of weeks.

The movie which stars, Chris Brown, T.I. Harris, fine ass Idris Elba, Michael Ealy and Hayden Christensen.

The plot is, a group of professional bank robbers (Michael Ealy, Chris Brown, Paul Walker, Idris Elba and Hayden Christensen), who specialize in spectacular robberies, are pulled into one last job by a recently paroled cohort (T.I) who will get pitted against a hard-boiled detective (Matt Dillon) who interrupts their heist.

I’m told this movie is filled with action, drama and crime.

“TAKERS” will open in theatres on August 27, 2010.

Amy Fisher, once known as the infamous “Long Island Lolita” has signed a huge porn deal with Dreamzone Entertainment.

Fisher is to star in 4 adult films before the end of 2011. In 2007, Fisher and her husband made a sex tape and sold 200,000 copies.

Amy Fisher made a name for herself in 1992 when she had an affair with Joey Buttafuoco while she was underage, and then shot his wife Mary Jo. The pair hooked back up a couple of years ago, but I think the media lost track of that never-ending drama.

So move over Montana Fishbourne, Amy Fisher wants to share the spotlight of famed pornography right along with you.

“OK… So My Secrets Out”

On any given Friday, when I’m not in the mood for Sylvia’s, I can be found dining at The Arena Diner in Hackensack, NJ.

I love that place and love their food; it is often my choice for my “meetings of the minds”.

I love their homemade soups and salads but this Friday I kept it simple and had their deluxe veggie burger and onion rings.

I won’t say who I was dining with but will add, that I was approached by one of my ceo-bloggers who after staring at me the whole time; finally revealed who he was and introduced himself.

I was shocked and completely caught off guard, especially when he insisted I autograph his napkin; that didn’t happen but bless his heart for the gesture.

So if you’re ever in the Hackensack area, the Arena is the place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The diner is opened 24 hours and is popular for accommodating the after hour party crowds.

“It’s Official”

Producer Swizz Beatz and R&B singer Alicia Keys, were married this past weekend and celebrated their nuptials aboard a yacht in the Mediterranean.

The details of their wedding are sketchy and because the couple are not Italian citizens, they were married in the tri-state area (New York) first.

The bride wore Vera Wang and the groom wore Tom Ford.

Why Swizz had two bachelor parties, one in New York and one in Italy really beats me; especially since homeboy was hot off a divorce just a month or two ago.

May they live happily ever happy, if such a thing exist.

A Porn Star!

The actor’s 19-year-old daughter Montana, is starring in a hard-core porn film.

And according to TMZ  Montana said: “I’ve watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape.”

I think it’s a sad day in the history of anything decent, when a young African-American girl want to model her life after Kloe, Kim or Kootie Kardasian.

And I think it’s an even sadder day, when your parent or parents, couldn’t encourage and/or influence you to want to do better!!!

There are so many successful black woman (who have used their brains) to choose as a role model.

Success should be defined by the integrity of one’s accomplishments, not by the lowering of one’s principles and values.
